Let’s See If This Works
I always liked the Commissar’s cartography but never made it on his maps.
So maybe this might work. DIY, baby. Just give the photo a click and then mouse around–Did I forget anybody?
P.S.: Making imagemaps with cheezy freeware editors sucks rocks. Thought you might like to know.

Thanks, but I’m not sure I wish I had thought of it….took me three tries to get it to some form of usefulness! You’re welcome to use the link wherever you need it.

Cool!
I bet that was a pain in the ass to code…but it’s neat.
Great job!

Awesome job, and very clever “Hundreds of Fathoms” in the chain locker.
By the way only non-qual trick I ever fell for was to look for the “snubbing scope”. I thought it was a piece of equipment, looked all over the boat, until the the QMC got his laugh and then filled me in. – LL

Chap,
Apologies for leaving this as a comment, but I haven’t got your email address…. I have an idea for a minor enhancement that shouldn’t take too terribly long — if you’ve a list of all the blogs you link to here and a good text editor. Drop me a line if you might be interested.

Lubber,
Just wait until SUBLANT finds out where they ended up…

Does SUBPAC rate their position because we’re tired of hearing from them, or because we get to wear headphones to block out the ambient noise? Agree SUBLANT rates their spot as well. I’m impressed, Chap. Good job. I’m sure it was a pain.

Pac took inspiration from Willy Shake: full of sound and fury, signifying …uh…
Bothenook: I figured it was field day and you were
inspecting the battery wellavoiding being found.January 9th, 2006 at 1:21 pm
sk3 guettler here.
well, I used to be on the dolphin but I’m now just a trucker hauling gas.
gotta go.
hey, nice picture of the boat wish I had one too (all I got for christmas was a remote controlled toy submarine)

very nice.

Chap, the Commissar must now be jealous of submariner ingenuity and determination. Striking!

Ok, I give up. What locker am I duct-taped and stuffed in. LOL. I know I’m in there, just can’t find it–I must be a non-qual!!! LOL.
Btw, I love this idea–especially cause it really makes us all shipmates! A cool thought, that. Thanks.

Oh, lord. Willy, you’ve got the entire bow plane.
You musta been a first flight 88 guy.
January 9th, 2006 at 9:51 pm
LOL. I found it. It was off the screen to the left and I had to use the horizontal scroll bar–with you guidance!
Ironically, no I wasn’t on a first flight 688 but an “I” boat–so you placed me rather appropriately. LOL.
English majors–what good are they anyway? LOL.
Thanks, Chap!
