Sequential Loss Of Blog Casualty
Keeping this on top for now while I try to fix the blog. Thanks to Gus van Horn for the hint about getting the Google cache for the blogroll; now all I have to do is manually…enter…all the links over again…
Turns out WordPress can use up some CPU time on the server, or so says the server farm. So I’ve updated and tweaked and removed a lot of plugins and exported and imported. Getting to this point took too many hours; I’ll check and see if the blog is doing okay with the hosting service, then get back to looking normal and all that later this weekend. My blogroll is gone.
WordPress 2.1.1 has autosave on posts. Very nice.

My old blog kind of blew up back before Christmas and that combined with a work colleague telling me I was too “right wing” to hire, stopped me cold. I think these glitches are designed to tell us something. Mine was “more disipline, less rant”. Whatever. Takes the joy out of blogging fer sure!
