A Few Small Links
- National Geographic Adventure finds a fellow living his life a bit bigger than some.
- Hot Air discusses Sura 2 of the Koran, which is pretty meaty–both the sura and the commentary.
- I’d love to see a graphic like this one Mt. Philo did for the Bible, analyzing the textual origins of the Koran. Something tells me that’ll not be easily forthcoming any time soon.
- A friend with an agenda sends me a link to a scary practice the Chinese government may be doing to the Falun Gong: organ harvesting. Ack. Also sent is an article about cash-for-influence and a Claudia Rosett piece on the UN–she’s still doggedly on the case.
- John deVille sends a Walter Russell Mead article on evangelism and American foreign policy.
- Uncle Jimbo doesn’t hide his distaste for a retired general.
- High diving and high speed photography doesn’t always mix. Found this on B3ta, which means they didn’t try for a Triple Lindy.
- A lovely piece of art history blogging in a place that might be a bit unusual. The blog also mentions that absinthe is being made again in the US.

That NatGeo piece on Rory Stewart was a great read, Chap. The other links were good, to be sure, but the Stewart piece was frickin’ outstanding!
Thanks for that.
