Hey, now the IRGC is sending helicopters worth of soldiers into Iraq, coincidentally at a time Iran is spoiling for a fight with somebody! And Israel, depending on who you talk to, is expecting to be attacked by anywhere from zero to five adversaries at once!
Any guesses as to the over-under for Grand Regional Conflagration in, say, one to eight months?

Thinking physically now, the system is demonstrably unstable, oscillating around some sort of attractor. there are many sane heads in the game, many wild cards. The interdependencies are numerous and it is difficult to discern their nature and stabilty in some cases. So you can play out just about any sane or insane scenario. don’t know what ‘over under’ is, but I give it a 70% chance of going higher order, but will extend the time frame to Jan/Feb 2009. That gives me about a year+ to sort out the effluent before my son becomes draft eligible.
