First, Brody is an employee of Pat Robertson, a guy who bathes in religiosity the way high school boys bathe in AXE body spray — they both smell about the same. As such, Brody’s, and by extension, Ms. Malkin’s, lament is more than a bit disingenuous. On the other hand, watching the Malkin Republicans stampede like…..elephants (or is it “godless liberals?”) in fear of Baby Jesus is a tremendous source of mirth for this soul.
Second, Brody’s boss endorsed Rudy because………uh, I guess God told him so. Either that or it must have something to do with 9/11 or that Rudy is in favor of killing babies. I confess I’m lost on the logic here in Wonderland.
Finally, this parody is waaaay better than Brody’s.

Oh, geez. I spend a lot of time in an unventilated room with a group of people that includes an AXE addict. I’m about to put a hurtin’ on someone.
I think the self-anointed “Most Christian” types goofin’ on one another made for some high entertainment. The Robertson media empire is proving Blair’s Law this month–the magazine they put out has a cover article by

Are you getting your “Pats” mixed up (Buchanan and Robertson)?
Because I had seen this Greenwald article bashing Rudy in Buchanan’s rag but it would be quite something for even Robertson to be so out of it to hire a Rudy-basher (and a queer at that) to pen an article. But given Blair’s Law, anything’s possible. If it is, please post the link — I’ll save it for my New Year’s hangover.
