Whack That Pianner
Huh. The good LT over at Jawa’s has found some Rachmaninoff he likes, played by Horowitz. I have a couple of 78s by the composer playing his butt off on the compositions, so I get his point.
Perhaps Cecil Taylor might get a rather intense reaction out of the LT…

“Horowitz: Encores” is one of my absolute favorite recent purchases. Say what you will, the man was a showman.
