The Sunday Sermon

I just got back from a quick trip to visit our northern neighbors. East Canuckistan is lovely this time of year, and it is definitely still 1976 in most of Halifax where we visited. I lost my voice amiably but passionately talking politics with a Canadian j.g. and college students in a bar with a classic rawk cover band. (Yes, I have a passionate distaste for Chomsky’s and the “Orientalist” influence on the Left; how did you notice?)

One of the discussion points was one I steered: you on that side of the table heard WMDWMDWMD, but I heard these five other points, too, and I went back and looked at the original speeches to check. That’s why I talked about moving goalposts after the fact to my new friends at the bar.

I bring this up because COL/Rev. Donald Sensing has a great point or two in this excellent post, a blog sermon if you will, which is well worth reading.
