Trip To East Canuckistan
I went to go visit Halifax, and it was very pleasant there. It was definitely 1976–suede jackets with fringe, a few guys looking “radical” with spiked hair, everybody smoked like the proverbial chimney, we stayed at a Howard Johnson, lots of Fleetwood Mac cover band action at the bar. Thankfully our hosts bought us beer and we saw some interesting historic things. I liked walking around downtown and stepping over the college students on the sidewalk–cute place.
I annoyed my coworker by insisting we stop at the library before the pub crawl, and found the stuff that makes up the post I will make after this one.
