Back during Desert Storm the school I was at tried to ban ROTC based on don’t ask-don’t tell. Now they have a branch in Qatar.

I read Col. Morales article from a link at another blog (Lex, maybe?). Your King Canute analogy works for me, but good on the man for saying what he said, when and where he said it. Columbia is in the news in this space, as well.
