Chapomatic

Skimmers. Always putting my name in the plural. They think I’m a chaplain or something. I’d recommend a reconsideration of that one–the sleeve insignia might be a little, um, off. I qualified under the belief that movie time was not-qualifying time, and I was born dink, so no movies for me. But, a tasker infection needs addressed.

At least Tammi remembered to spell my name right…how’s that puppy doing?

Total number of films I own on DVD/video

–Not that many. I’m more of a music addict. The wife, after living in Japan pre-cable or internet, left with a serious movie collection.

The last film I watched:

–French In Action, Lesson 11. Before that? The Wire video (amazing stuff). Would like to say Half-Cocked, Japanarama! Volume 1, or the Young Rock comp of Chapel Hill bands of the late ’80′s (POLVO!!), but I’ve been moving and everything’s in a box.

Five films I watch a lot or mean a lot to me (in no particular order):

–The Cane Toads documentary.

–The Brothers Quay’s Cabinet of Dr. Svenkmajer. Only saw it the once, but it was pretty intense work.

–Dave Allen’s one lonely compliation, although I’d like to say Ernie Kovacs (but that’s dated by now).

–Episodes of Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

–Orson Welles flicks: Citizen Kane, Third Man (the cuckoo clock speech).

–The Seven Samurai.
